Orthodox Icon of Our Lady of Vladimir with double embossing of gold leaf in a wooden frame.
The icon is consecrated. The image is produced through printing.
The iconography conforms to the Orthodox iconographic canons. The icon is under glass, which protects the image from UV rays, dust, and moisture. The frame is made of wood – linden. On the back of the icon is a metal suspension fitting.
According to tradition, the Icon of Our Lady of Vladimir was painted by the Apostle Luke on a part of the table used during meals of the Holy Family. All later copies of this icon are precise reproductions of the original created by the Holy Evangelist.
