Afghan kazans - products that have been used since ancient times. The kazan is made of aluminum, carefully polished to a mirror shine.
It has handles, a pressure mechanism and two valves on the lid – a safety valve and a valve for releasing steam.
Afghan kazan can be used as: a pot, a frying pan, a pressure cooker and a kazan.

The first use of Afghan Kazan:

  1. Pour 1/3 of the water into the kazan, boil and leave it for about 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse with running water, removing any remaining industrial grease and dust.
  3. Pour 100 ml of oil in the dry kazan and fry finely chopped onions in it under a closed lid (oil and onions are not suitable for eating after the first oiling). Shake the pot periodically so that the oil is evenly distributed over the walls.
  4. After - wash the kazan and wipe it with a cloth.

Care:

  • Wash the kazan with a sponge or a soft cloth with the usual dish detergent, washing the valves well. It is very important to wash the product in time!
  • Hard sponges damage the coating and contribute to metal corrosion.

Safety precautions:

  • Do not keep the kazan on a maximum heat for a long time
  • Do not tighten the screw lock handle to the maximum – it should just press the lid down
  • It is better to keep an eye on the kazan – the food is prepared quickly
  • Requires accuracy. When releasing steam, it is necessary to protect your hands and face. Before opening the lid, remove the pot from the stove or fire for 1-2 minutes. Open the lid only after the steam comes out of the valve
