Does your child know about the 5 senses?
Some information is perceived by hearing, some things can only be seen or smelled. The child’s task is to group the things according to the organs of sense: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch. We learn classifying and new notions.
Funny caterpillars will give the child a tip, which is what pieces are to be joined. There is an organ of sense on the first part of every caterpillar.
In such a way the child will easily define that we can hear an alarm-clock, we can see a book, and we can differentiate a rose by smell.
Now let’s play children’s lotto! Put all the pieces with the images of things in the middle, so that they have their back side up. Give each player a piece with the head. The one who joins all pieces the first will win!
